Our method

• We review documents, not sensations. We have not physically tested the products we write about, and we do not publish claims about how anything feels. Every assessment is built from published product listings, batch certificates, policy pages and publicly visible ratings.
• We date everything. Prices and policies in this category change constantly. Every page carries the date it was checked, and figures we calculate ourselves are labelled as ours.
• We publish the criticism too. If a returns policy is narrower than the badge advertising it, that goes on the page in the same size type as the good news.
• We do not invent discount codes. If a brand has no public code, we say so rather than publishing something that fails at checkout.
• We make no health claims. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here should be read as a statement about treating, curing or preventing anything.

How we are funded

This site is reader-supported. Some links to brand stores are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no additional cost to you. That arrangement does not give any brand approval over what we publish, and no brand has reviewed, directed or paid for the wording of our assessments. Where we think an item is poor value — as with the smallest jars on the MONTKUSH range — we say so on the same page as the link.

Corrections and contact

If a price, policy or figure on this site is wrong or has changed, tell us and we will correct it and re-date the page. We would rather hear about it from you than leave it standing.
